The purpose of the Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion is to assist the priest in ministering the Body and Blood of Christ during Eucharistic liturgies, and to tend to the care of the sacred vessels following the Eucharistic celebration. Communion ministers may also share the Body of Christ with the sick and homebound.
If you are an experienced extraordinary minister of holy communion and would like to serve at a weekend mass, please take a cross from the church diagram board at the entrance to the sanctuary.
