Why is Adult Involvement Important?

Adult participation is the backbone of the FLAME program

 and ALL faith formation programs in our church.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church and the National Directory for Catechesis all emphasize the importance and necessity of Adult Faith Formation in the Catholic Church.   Parents are the role models and primary teachers for their children, therefore their own faith must continue to grow through study, prayer, participation in the Eucharistic Liturgy, Bible Study and a life committed to Catholic Social Teachings.
