Good books and good movies can nurture the hungry soul. Like fine meals, they are best enjoyed among friends. St. Albert’s Circle of Friends gathers monthly to discuss a book or a movie These are alternated, so there are always two months to read each book. Check here or the bulletin for dates and information about the books and videos selected, which are subject to change... or call Paula Horn. All are welcome to any or all gatherings. Circle of Friends generally meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month around 9:30AM (depending on the length of the movie) or 11:30 AM (book), with time for brown bag lunch discussion. If there is enough interest, it’s possible an additional group could meet at a different time.
“We are people who have a story, and through the Circle of Friends we read books and view movies; this enables the story of our lives to be told and shared based upon reading and viewing. ”
“Like good wine, good books and good movies are the catalyst that brings us together to tell our Stories.”
